Deb is a marketing and social media adviser, professional speaker, and trainer. With more than 20 years as a marketing and public relations professional, she’s passionate about helping professionals use social media to promote themselves and their businesses. She helps people learn how to use marketing tools in a way that expands their professional networks, creates business, and gets new clients. She’s given keynote presentations, seminars and workshops to groups throughout the United States. She’s also host of The Business Power Hour, on Mile Hi Radio, with her first program airing in 2012.
She’s also president of Wise Women Communications (WWC), a public relations and marketing firm. Her background includes experience in event coordination, media and public relations, internal and external communications, crisis management, integrated marketing campaigns, brand management, website development, and community relations.
Before founding WWC in 2002, Deb managed the corporate communications program for the Denver site of ING Group (now Voya) and served as a media and communications coordinator for the Rocky Mountain Region of the American Cancer Society. In addition, she provided public relations and lobbying support for Denver-based Corporate Advocates and was the director of public relations and account manager for Linnell & Soreide Marketing Partners, a full-service marketing and advertising firm. She has an MBA degree with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Colorado and an MS in communications management from Colorado State University.
Now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Deb’s a member of the South Cobb Business Association, the Marietta Business Association, the West Cobb Business Association and What Women Want. She’s a past president of The Association for Women in Communications (Denver Chapter) and was honored as an Outstanding Woman of Achievement by AWC in 2008. She’s a past president of the University of Colorado Denver Buff Club and currently serves as a co-chapter leader for the Atlanta Chapter of the CU-Boulder Alumni Association.
Having worked in high-level, fast paced corporate world for 17 years, Kim has a keen sense for what it takes to build trust and credibility, establish long-term relationships and successfully run a business effectively and efficiently. Kim graduated from Penn State University with a BS in General Science and then obtained her MBA from Robert Morris University.
She has always enjoyed business strategy, managing teams and projects and organizing system and processes. As producer of The Business Power Hour, Kim gets to organize the details of ensuring the show’s guests are found, scheduled and all logistics are locked in place to allow for 2 weekly shows to broadcast.

Having worked extensively in marketing and advertising for more than 20 years, Karen has a solid foundation in all types of communication. Karen graduated from the University of Georgia with a journalism degree and a drama minor. She immediately went to work in promotions and public relations. She has managed marketing campaigns for hospitals, radio stations, jet charter companies, insurance agencies, utility companies and many more industries. She has created award-winning advertising campaigns and videos and has extensive experience in strategic marketing and branding.
An entrepreneur herself, Karen understands the frustrations and fears that business owners face, but with her marketing background, she understands that you have to master many techniques and tools to keep moving your business forward!
